This can seem like an odd statement coming from an engineer on their personal site about which one they prefer. However, there are some good reasons for my feelings on which one I prefer over the other. Let's take an in depth look at both of these frameworks and see what makes each different from its counterpart.

 


1) Advantages of Laravel

Laravel is free to use and gives you an amazing framework that helps you create quality applications in a short time. With Laravel, you don’t have to worry about anything because it comes with tons of features and tools. However, Laravel can be challenging for newcomers; but it doesn’t mean that there aren’t other options available. If working with complex systems like Laravel is beyond your expertise, then Php could be your best bet.

2) Disadvantages of Laravel

The main disadvantage of Laravel is that it’s not open source. Therefore, if you don’t have any support staff available for Laravel development, hiring will be more difficult. But there are many software companies which provide dedicated support for Laravel to its clients. So if you are looking to hire laravel developers then it won’t be a problem because Laravel is popular among developers.

3) Advantages of PHP

To begin with, it’s important to mention that there are thousands of software applications and websites built using PHP. It’s one of the most popular programming languages used today and is among those that serve as a base for larger frameworks such as Laravel. This particular framework, which stands for libraries, APIs, and web services has become very popular within recent years as more programmers discover its potential uses.
